and i...ee...i..e...i will always love you

if you have followed our blog for a bit, you will remember these two from past valentines day posts, and hand holding, melt your heart good bye posts, just to name a few. cole and lucy were simply inseparable, until the dreaded move that is. we have been lucky enough to have the hammonds come back to town and stop by our house a few times, but it has definitely been a long distance romance for a while now. cole often sees old pictures of lucy and asks to play with her again and apparently lucy had a flash-back-to-cole-day hit her so hard that alas she had to call her long distance love.

I was so happy to hear my friend's (lucy's mom's) voice and even more delighted to hear that she was actually calling on lucy's behalf (how stinkin' cute is that?). apparently she had been scrapbooking and lucy saw pictures of her and cole, which prompted a ride down memory lane via home video's of her and cole, which then led to a begging session, which led to the phone call.

IT WAS HILARIOUS. chantell and I were dying laughing listening to each end of the conversation. they caught up on each others siblings, lucy asked about the Y, cole asked about her dancing, it was basically as priceless as you could get. the end of the conversation went something like:
"well cole, I gotta go, I love you, (she blew a kiss) bye!"

it was just plain tender. cole was so happy the rest of the day, and I must admit I had a perma-grin relaying the sweet story to justin when he got home. lucy and cole are still just plain adorable.

And I thought we were in trouble with Eryn and her fickled love of multiple boys...

Cute post title. You should have Mike sing that song for you sometime... It's amazing!

Isn't young love priceless?! My 4yr old, Logan, has had the biggest crush on this little friend of his for the past two years. Almost a year ago he decided he was going to marry her one day. She's not quite ready for that step yet but at least she wants to be good friends. It's way too cute though, isn't it! =o) It sounds like that was the cutest phone call!
